Over the years the world has progressively gotten flatter in terms of business related activities. Outsourcing has become a major part of a lot of businesses and it is a big determinant of success for them. The technological advances throughout the years have made it easier and faster for companies to interact with people worldwide. A good example of this new technology would be what I am doing right now, blogging. I'm giving my knowledge and opinion that can be seen and discussed with many people worldwide. Information is so vital to the success of everything so with the internet and e-mail, communication has become easier.
I believe that the flattening of the world has its pros and cons. A couple pros would be the different cultures coming together to be successful with each other, more capital for some companies by buying cheaper supplies then here locally. A couple cons are that jobs in the United States are being shipped overseas, which leads to unemployment here in the States. Another con is that supplies are taking longer to make their way over then if they were just produced here.
