China has twice as many people than the USand Europecombined, which plays a role in it being the fastest growing economy today. Since the late '70s, however, China's economy has doubled every eight years. In that same period, the U.S.economy has doubled once. Manufacturing has also helped Chinagrow through these years. They are moving very high up on the value chain with tech exports, as well as their booming domestic market. China-based factories already make 70% of the worlds toys, 60% of bicycles, and half of its shoes and luggage. prm
They are able to do this because of their drastically low wages (30 times lower than the US).I am not sure about the company I would like to do, but I think Chinawould be a great place to take the company becasue of the low wages and their growing economy.
